Grout Plug also referred to as a 'Margo Plug' is used within a drilled hole to allow
grouting (filling) the hole with a cement or grout mixture. It is also used to
control drainage of water from a hole. It should not be used
to impound water within a drill hole.
The Grout Plug is secured in the drill hole primarily with the friction
of the rubber bushings against the wall of the hole. The Grout Plug consists of a inner open pipe,
threaded one end for valve and compression nut, other end a welded ring and/or threaded nut.
Fitted over the pipe is from 1 to 4 Rubber compression bushings and a compression sleeve.
